The YSI pH100 also allows the ability to connect a flat-tipped (112-1) double-junction and piercing-tipped (111-1) probe for additional applications. Swirl Separators are best set up in such a way to utilise gravitational flow of water, with more than 50% of solids removed at this point, helping not only to assist in improving water quality, but also reducing labour in washing and replacing filters.
These swirl separators are a low cost item that can improve your systems ability to handle wastes. It takes just a minute to maintain daily and can also be set up so as to be automated, drawing out the solids by a timer control.
Swirl Separators work best around 25,000LPH, they can however be used with higher flow rates, but efficiency is reduced.
