A captively bred variant of the common rice fish found in rice paddies throughout japan and mainland China. When well cared for, they can thrive for up to 5 years. They exhibit resilience to a broad temperature spectrum, ranging from as low as 0 degrees to as high as 27 degrees. For optimal results, it is recommended to maintain a temperature between 18°C and 24°C, and a pH level in the range of 7.0 to 8.0.
