Our Policies

Payment Options

You can pay with a credit or debit card by using the PayPal payment method. You DO NOT need to have a PayPal account to use this. PayPal has industry-leading fraud prevention measures and keeps your financial information secure and private


You can also pay via Bank Deposit. If you choose this method, follow the instructions in the checkout process, and deposit the total amount into the account given. You can pay via internet banking, phone banking or at your local bank branch. Please include order number and name with your deposit. If you are using internet banking your order number and name can be placed in the lodgement reference/message box.
Please Note: The payment may take a day or two to be transferred between different financial institutions. Your order will be posted as soon as payment is received.
The bank account details can be reviewed if needed after you have completed the checkout process by:
First Click on “My Account” in the top navigation bar. Log in using the email address and password supplied in the checkout process. If you have forgotten your password use the password recovery system on the “My Accounts” Page. Once you have logged in, scroll down to your order history and click on “View“  You can find the bank account details on your receipt, which will pop up in a new window. (may need to “allow popups” if you have a pop up blocker)


Returns

We guarantee you will be happy with the products and services we provide. To that end, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase from the Fish Farm Online, please contact us immediately, and we will rectify the problem. Simple! If the product if faulty within the manufacturer's warranty period, we will replace it. Please contact us, at which point we will issue you with a returns code, then return the product with its original packaging and paperwork. Please note, return postage is at the buyers expense, however, we may choose to issue you with the value of the postage in gift certificates for future purchases. NOTE: Weights and dimensions given on the product pages (unless otherwise stated) are of the product including its box/ packaging.

 

Can't Find something you want?

If you are after a specific product which we do not currently sell, feel free to email us and we will look into adding it to our online store. Currently our store is being regulary updated, improved, and our range of items increased. Our aim is to have the most comprehensive array of aquarium and aquaponics supplies available in Australia.

 

Special order/Out of Stock Items

Special order items are generally not held in stock. However we can order it in and dispatch it to you with a very minimal of delays (Generally it is still shipped to you within the week). Items which have the status of Out Of Stock, can still be added to your cart and are treated the same as special order items. NOTE: Weights and dimensions given on the product pages (unless otherwise stated) are of the product including its box/ packaging.

 

Live Fish and large/heavy item Orders

For orders which include live fish, and/or glass aquariums, and/or large aquaponics equipment (e.g. fish tanks, growbeds, stands, expanded clay growing medium, etc) we recommend you email store@thefishfarm.com.au your order. This is because we may not be able to ship it or special shipping may need to be arranged. If you pay for these products through the shopping cart we may need to invoice you for additional shipping, as the flat rate of $7 postage does not cover them.  Orders emailed through will still be processed as quickly as possible. If there are no large/heavy items or live fish in your order, please pay through the shopping cart.

Metropolitan Adelaide/Southern Adelaide Hills Customers

For customers in Metropolitan Adelaide and the southern Adelaide Hills, we can deliver fish to your door Mondays and Thursdays for a minimal charge, and the same applies to any purchases from our online store. Please contact us for any special requirements and enquiries, we are only too happy to help! Some deliveries may be able to be made for no charge, depending on location.

 

Wholesale Enquiries

If you are a manufacturer/wholesaler of a product (s) you think we may be interested in stocking in our store, feel free to email us (at store@thefishfarm.com.au). Alternatively if you would like to order a bulk/wholesale order, email us and we will create a wholesale account for you OR some discount will be arranged. NOTE: we reserve the right to cancel your wholesale account if you continuously order small orders, or for any other reason.
